The Rock ’n' Roll Marathon Liverpool is part of an international series of marathons, with bands playing along the course, culminating in a public concert at the finish line. The event is compromised of a series of races: a full marathon; a half marathon and 5K and a 1-mile fun runs - starting and finishing at Liverpool’s Pier Head. Event weekends also include a world-class health and fitness expo.

Paramount Security provides stewarding for the event, ensuring the safety of both the runners along the 26-mile route and providing guidance the 15,000 supporters. We provide stewarding and guidance to runners and visitors, both along the route and at the finish line concert.
Paramount is also responsible for traffic management and staffing road closures. We use excellent local knowledge to provide drivers with helpful information to re-route them, ensuring that runners, visitors and residents are all able to enjoy the event.

River of Light is Liverpool and Wirral’s pre-eminent bonfire night event – a spectacular cross-river firework display. Liverpool City Council and Wirral Borough Council have amalgamated multiple displays in this stand-out event, using the River Mersey as a stage.Read More
